Mar Serena is a 287-hectare coastal property in Cabo Velas, Guanacaste, master-planned for four beach resorts, 310 condominiums and 250 lots.
Papagayo Design Center delivered the project across Site Analysis & Land Use, Master Plan & Urban Design, Infrastructure Construction Documents, and Permitting (CFIA · SETENA).
Mar Serena master-plans 287 hectares of Cabo Velas coastline for a mix of uses held on one property: four beach resorts, 310 condominium units and 250 lots.
A mix like that has to be resolved early, because resorts and private lots make very different demands on access, parking, potable water and wastewater capacity, and the parts of the coast each occupies cannot be swapped later. Those decisions belong to site analysis and land use, before a single lot line is drawn.
Papagayo Design Center delivered site analysis and land use, the master plan and urban design, infrastructure construction documents, and permitting through the CFIA and SETENA.
