We represent you, not the building.
Every other party at the table is selling something — a design, a system, a subcontract, a package of hours, a change order. We sell nothing but your outcome. As Owner's Representative our allegiance is to your budget, your programme and your intent, and when one of the three is threatened we are the ones in the room who say so out loud.
The owner may be a family building once in their lives, a developer's board, or a public institution that will have to defend the file to an auditor. The position we take is identical. Only the paperwork around it changes.
Design management, permitting, tendering and construction management run by one team acting for the owner rather than for the contractor — following Project Management Institute procedures.
